Tendril chief executive officer Adrian Tuck was presented with the Outstanding Leadership in Advancing the Smart Grid award during a presentation hosted by GridWeek in Washington, D.C. The selection committee for the 2011 GridWeek Leadership Awards consisted of representatives from GridWeek’s 14 major partner organizations. Tuck’s award recognizes commitment to Smart Grid deployment.

Tuck first advocated the Smart Grid while CEO of Ember, which provides semiconductors, and later through his work helping develop of the ZigBee standards during his tenure as the vice chair of the ZigBee Alliance.
