Trilliant Incorporated to provide communications software to British Gas as part of the Utilities Phase One of its smart metereting activities. British Gas will be using Trilliants Utilitysuite, the ECMS sofware for smart electric and gas meters, and home energy displays, however no mention of British Gas using home energy displays at this time.

Trilliant expects to start the deployment for British Gas in December 2009.
