Echelon Corporation’s NES Energy Control System has been chosen as one of five solutions in PermEnergo’s 50,000 home smart metering pilot, which is being monitored by the Russian government as a potential model for the country. Installation is scheduled to start during the summer and be completed by the end of 2011.
Telvent is partnering with Esri CIS in Russia to provide smart grid solutions for the country’s energy industry. Under this new collaboration, Esri CIS’s 3,000 clients will gain access to Telvent solutions that support their transition to a smart grid and provide a more reliable and efficient infrastructure network.
