eMeter CEO Talks Smart Meters

Headquartered in San Mateo, eMeter has emerged as one of the leading smart grid companies in Silicon Valley. eMeter’s software helps utilities manage the data they collect from electric, gas and water meters, and turns that data into useful information for utility operators and consumers alike. eMeter Selected for Taiwan Pilot Program

Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) has selected eMeter’s EnergyIP information platform and customer Web portal for use in its upcoming Smart Grid pilot program. ITRI, a research organization mandated to strengthen the technological competitiveness of Taiwan, says Energy IP was chosen for its reliability and scalability, and proven success in the market.
