The City of Dayton, Tenn. has selected Elster’s EnergyAxis Smart Grid solution to power its advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) project. Elster, through WESCO Distribution, will supply 8,000 residential and 2,000 commercial Elster REX and A3 Alpha Smart Meters.
Two leading Brazilian utilities have selected Elster AMCO Water meters to more accurately measure water usage and boost increased revenues. Empresa Baiana de Aguas e Saneamento (EMBASA) will install 170,000 Elster water meters at residential and commercial locations and Saneamento Basico do Estado de Sao Paulo (SABESP) will deploy 80,000 Elster water meters in its residential customer base.
