ClipperCreek CEO, Jason France says, “While it is exciting to have one station that can charge all new OEM vehicles, the most important thing is the safety listing of the units. To the best of our knowledge this is the only station that is certified to be installed in the US.”
ClipperCreek’s line of UL listed products is well-suited for use in both residential and public charging settings. The CS-40 units are designed to be installed with either a free-standing pedestal or on an existing structure or wall.
David Packard, ClipperCreek President says the most compelling aspect of the company’s product “is that it is made in the USA. Not only is the unit assembled in California, but all the components, except the vehicle connector, are from US based suppliers and manufacturers.”
In 2009, ClipperCreek produced over 2,500 chargers and is the exclusive provider of charge stations (EVSEs) for BMWs Mini-E and for the Tesla Roadster. ClipperCreek also provides EVSEs to power Ford, Mercedes, GM and Nissan vehicles.
The CS-40 is available for immediate delivery and orders are currently being taken.
