Olivine provides technology, operations, programs, and consulting services. EnergyHub develops software solutions designed to improve utilities’ demand response and energy efficiency programs. And VEIC works to reduce the economic and environmental costs of energy use through the energy efficiency and renewable energy services.
ADS executive director Dan Delurey says, “We are excited to have these new members join ADS and help us grow our ability to serve the needs of the DR and smart grid community. Olivine offers a number of options to support DR in the wholesale market, and is also a DR provider and scheduling coordinator. VEIC is a great asset to the discussion on how best to integrate energy efficiency with demand response as they have a strong focus on reducing the overall costs of energy use. And EnergyHub offers in-home options to consumers for reducing their energy using a variety of resources.”
Originally founded as the Demand Response Coordinating Committee, ADS’ membership includes individuals and organizations involved in demand response and smart grid. ADS’ mandate is to establish and grow a demand response community of policymakers, utilities, system operators, technology companies, consumers, and other stakeholders.
