SmartMeters.com and its employees operate from the Isle of Benbecula, a small island off the West Coast of Scotland.  Our offices are located on the islands former army personnel base.  Benbecula has a long military history with the British Army establishing its base here in 1958, to service the islands missile testing range located in South Uist.  QinetiQ now service the missile range, and are still to this day the islands main employer.
